I am in a 403(b) plan. I don't understand which is better, or when it is better to invest in a Money Market Fund or a Fixed Interest Account. What is the difference between the two and what is the rule of thumb when approaching these investment tools?

What is the best way to get out of a Fixed interest Mortgage?

I don't want to pay hefty payout fees to pay off a fixed mortgage, in order to get a better interest rate on a new mortgage. Are there any creative ways of avoiding these hefty fees? There has to be a way doesn't there? Any experts out there?
When you refinance, there will always be fees or closing costs. But you should look beyond the fees to see if refinancing is the right option for you.

The ONLY way is to refi your mortgage OR pay-off the mortgage completely. There are no "creative ways" to get out of it unless you are willing to commit some sort of fraud

I am buying a new car and have been sitting here trying to figure out how the finance company came up with the total interest I will pay on loan. Loan is= 27 175.14 @ 7.89% over 60months fixed rate and final 12 months open. Thay claim the interest to
Need more info, I calculate $5,800 of interest over 60 months at fixed rate.
Ask them to provide you with an amortization schedule, if they can't explain and account for the numbers, then you need to find financing elsewhere.
