Since am a student i dont get a credit card, and without one,i miss all the great deals on the internet and i have heard about prepaid credit cards (gift cards) of HDFC and ICICI .
can they be used for online shopping???

I have a Max Saving account in HDFC today i got a call from HDFC Bank that they are offering me Free Credit Card ( they said no monthly fee no annual fee or no hidden cost) friend should i go for it? The limits is 30,000 Rupees. Can any one tell me what

interest rates are always to much.

well they are just fooling around. yes they are offering free but once you get it they will send u lots of hidden charges which you have to pay, my advice is not to go for any credit cards, better to have your ATM card only.

I heard some where that HDFC bank is giving credit cards for opening saving account of 25000.is it true?

Can u give me some details for geting credit cards by simple opening of saving account.
