Is there anything I can do about the high interest rate charged by GE becuase of Wizards sale to Aussie loans?

I received a letter in the mail last week stating that Wizard has been sold, the name was purchased by Aussie Home Loans ( they purchased the name only none of the loans ), CBA selectively picked a heap of the loans and purchased them, the rest were left

I'll make sure I never get a variable rate loan.
I'm going to stick with 15 or 30 year fixed.

They were originally just a broker for home loans, but now i hear they have credit cards and things, so perhaps they are brokers for things like credit cards and personal loans too because if they arent a financial institution, they cant be providing
