Anybody have experience with a HomePath Mortgage?

I am a first-time home buyer, recently prequalified for a HomePath Mortgage. Just looking for pros/cons.

Thanks.

Pros - great interest rate, fairly reasonable on qualifying, loan for most of the purchase price.

Cons - Only some bank will even bother, only some properties are eligible, and fees are very high.

Who is the CEO of the mortgage provider "Homepath"?

Homepath is the subsidiary mortgage provider of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. I would like to know who Homepath's CEO currently is.

There isn't one for Homepath directly. It's a subsidary of Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Also if it says sold as is... does that usually mean somehting

Why not call a local real estate agent and ask them what this program is? They would be much more versed in this than most if not all of us here who don't live where you are.
